Walking near Commercial drive on Sunday, this “house” caught my eye. It is, of course, a multi-unit building, styled to be reminiscent of the turn of last-century housing product in the same neighbourhood. In some respects, it’s a bit of a miss on its intent, but I admire the developer for trying at least. Given the diversity of the neighbourhood, I might have been more impressed if the complex consisted of social or low-income housing. Supply is sadly outstripped by demand here.
